Green Rong House project:
Location: Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang.
Idea: following the architectural ideas of the Rong house of the Central Highlands.
Construction area: 5m x 19m on each floor.
Total construction area: 237m2 (3 floors).
The building is required by the owner to design in the direction of green building, completely new construction with green tree solution on roof and balcony. Priority is given to wind and natural light. Limit artificial solutions to get wind.
Customer’s characteristics, occupation, culture, living habits:
The couple is very young and both are international students from Japan. They want the house to be designed with a concept open space style, naturally airy, and friendly.
Customer request: There is a large and airy open space to reunite, the whole family living together.
Based on these key factors, Oakpin Concept & Design has come up with a solution of concrete slab on the front of the house with a natural ventilation system designed based on air convection studies naturally right from the 1st floor and the axis to get the strongest wind in the house is the skylight and the stair system.
The scale of the house:
+ 1 kitchen
+ 1 car parking garage.
+ 1 living room → The kitchen and the living room are 2 open spaces.
The stairs to the second floor will have a buffer space to receive guests, followed by this buffer is the master bedroom (Master Bedroom).
This sitting area can later transform into a bedroom as the couple’s baby grows up and needs a separate room.
The worship area combined with the roof-top space on the 2nd floor, this floor deviation is the family resort. There is enough swimming pool for 3 users.
This area is like a resort space in the house. On weekends they can invite family members or friends over to play & relax.
House utilities are designed in a space that has deviated floors. Although the length is only 19m, when divided about architectural space, the homeowner is very satisfied with the space and solutions of Oakpin.
The house has many open spaces, more interchangeable spaces for use with each other, more airy, natural, but still safe and comfortable.
Sitting houses formed and built by Concrete: Walls, floors, ceilings, slabs … are 100% concrete. This helps homeowners reduce risks associated with the cracking or seepage of the building in the long run. Therefore, the sustainable value in this project is always appreciated.
